Being a Force for Good

Today is pay day, well with Origami Owl EVERY Friday is payday! Do you remember what I was doing with my two weeks of pay? Well let me refresh your memory.

2 weeks ago there was a fire at my apartment complex, many were displaced. I worked and helped coordinate tons of donations, brought food to the victims and now have raise just under $200 in less than 2 weeks to donate to them! Thank you all for ordering this donation is all because of my loyal fans!

The money will be split up to the families that lost everything. Its not much but, its money they weren't expecting :)

How to keep your jewelry looking like new!

We all love that new jewelry shine, but after time with sweating and lotions our jewelry can look a little dingy or not so shinny.  One tip is to make sure any perfumes, lotions or sprays you may be using put them on before putting on any of your jewelry.  If you need to clean your items try this neat and easy way to clean.  First gather these items:

1 foil covered bowl
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of hot water
and a timer

Put the teaspoon of salt and baking soda in the bowl, add the hot water and dissolve the salt and baking soda.  Once fully dissolved put the chains you want to clean in the bowl and let sit for 10-15 minutes. I have not used this technique on any gold or rose gold items just the silver ones. I have a little video so you can see how easy it is.  I hope you enjoy my video!
